This is the aerial view of the farm courtesy of Google Maps. I find it quite thrilling that I can see all the small details of my farm on-line through Google, down to the individual cows and my truck, and yet, I find it frightening that others can look at my private world just as easily. This image was captured when the cheese cave was built yet not before it was covered with soil, in the summer of 2010. It gives a great view of the cave. Today the cave is completely hidden and will not appear on the newest Google image. It is difficult for this map with the small tags identifying the areas of the farm not to look like the maps of the missile silos during the Cuban missile crisis. For the record, there are no missile silos on the property, just cows.
