Saturday September 7th Entertaining with Ted Kennedy Watson of Watson Kennedy

I have known Ted Watson and his husband Ted Sive — The Teds — for many years as they were frequent guests to Cookhouse, the supper club of years past at the farm and also of my restaurant on Broadway — Cafe Septieme. He was always the most gracious guest and his invitation for me to join them for dinner at his Vashon Island getaway WestWard was a much remembered treat.

Ted has a new book out and will join us for an afternoon at the farm. His “ Guide to Stylish Entertaining” is a delicious and handsome book filled with tips and ideas and inspirations.

For his class this summer Ted will take us through all the steps to create the ideal table: linens, glassware, candles, silver and of course flowers. We will be meeting in the barn this year so there will be loads of space for us to spread out and create.

For lunch he will prepare a few things from the book and also we will enjoy plenty of small nibbles and of course some sparkling wine.

You will leave the afternoon with the confidence to host your own party with elan and grace the Ted Watson way and will also have a signed copy of his book to take home as well.
